MURAT TÜMER (drums), BATUR YURTSEVER (bass), TANJU EREN (guitar) and EVREN UYSAL (vocal) formed the band FOMA in the summer of 2007. Two years later in the summer of 2009 DAĞHAN KÖK (guitar) joined the band as a final member.

The first EP titled FOMA was released in April, 2008.

The EP was coined as “the best EP of the year“ by Rolling Stone Turkey. FOMA also have a music video for the track “İnsafsız“
